WYP Pricing Levels (see guidelines below)
Program Fee: This is the actual cost of running the program for Wilderness Youth Project
Scholarship Level 1, Subsidy: For moderate- to lo-income families that need financial assistance
Scholarship Level 2, Deep Subsidy: For lower income families**
**Note that deeper scholarships below Level 2 are available by request for afterschool programs only. Deeper scholarship requests can be made during the registration process.
Question: How much does the camp actually cost?
Answer: The program fee represents the actual cost per camper for our program.
Question: Why is this camp so expensive?
Answer: There's a reason that our ratio of 1 counselor for every 4 participants is unheard of in other camps: it's expensive! But it's also essential to the magic of WYP, it makes it possible for us to have amazing adventures while staying safe, and it provides space for one-on-one mentoring with each participant.
Question: Are there any income level guidelines to help families choose payment level?
Answer: We ask families to pay at the highest level they can afford, given their unique financial situations. We trust families to give the most they can. If a guide is helpful, please see below.

Cancellation Policy: We'll require families to pay their full program balance for any cancellations that happen within 5 working days of the start of a session. WYP staff will do everything possible to fill the spot, and if filled, you will only be charged the $50 non-refundable/transferable deposit. This isn't about the money. This is about serving as many kids as possible. And though we do have waiting lists, people often make other plans and we can't always fill a spot on short notice. Thanks for your understanding and support!.
